【The Wedjat Eye · Eternal Vision & Protection]
The Totem of Omniscience
Central to this masterpiece is the Eye of Horus, also known as the Wedjat or the "Eye of True Knowledge." As one of the most powerful and enduring symbols of Ancient Egypt, it represents the all-seeing, all-knowing vision of the falcon-headed sky god. According to sacred myth, the Right Eye symbolizes the sun in its full glory—a force that vanquishes evil and grants reprieve from suffering. The Left Eye represents the waxing and waning moon, a talisman offered to Osiris to discern good from evil, safeguard health, and according to ancient belief, possess the miraculous power of restoration and rebirth.
A Relic of the Late Period: Ancient Egyptian Faience
The centerpiece is an authentic Egyptian Faience amulet dating from the Late Period (6th–4th Century BCE). Set in a bespoke 18K gold mounting, this ancient glazed material is a triumph of early alchemy. While the term "Faience" originally referred to colorful tin-glazed earthenware from Faenza, Italy, the term has been specialized by modern scholars to define the shimmering, vitreous-glazed quartz ceramics of ancient Egypt. Known for its brilliant, "self-shining" turquoise and blue hues, Egyptian Faience was considered a sacred substance imbued with celestial light.
Artisanal Heritage
Combining 2,500-year-old spiritual craftsmanship with the refined brilliance of 18K gold, this necklace is more than a jewel. It is a protective vessel of history, connecting the modern soul to the ancient wisdom and divine guardianship of the Pharaohs. Each amulet carries the distinct patina of antiquity, making every piece a unique, unrepeatable treasure.
Length: 17 inches.
